I have 4 questions. You can choose the one that you want to answer, but write the number next to it so I know.
1) For healthy hair, around how many days of the week do you have to wash your hair?
2) What are some of the bestest shampoos/conditioners for hair loss and for healthy hair?
3) Can pre-teens/teens wear hair loss treatment? (Ages 11 and up)
4) How come when you rub your finger tips like around your scalp, and you smell your hands and it smells weird?

1.) You should wash your hair every other day. The sulfates in shampoo are very damaging, you can wash everyday but use a natural shampoo or wash with shampoo once a week and wash with conditioner only every day.
2.) A biotin shampoo works well or any natural shampoo because sulfates damage the hair badly.
3.) Certain ones, most no. Try taking a skin, hair and nails vitamin.
4.) It may be sweat, this is common.

So I’m pretty sure I have PCOS, from sisters who have it and looking at information about it online.
I am going to the gynecologist in about 2 weeks anyways, so we’ll soon know.

One of the more annoying side effects is hair loss in the scalp. I was blessed with unusually thick hair, so its never been a problem, but I’ve been noticing it worsening lately. Not so that the hair on my head appears thin, but that just by running my hands through my hair once, I have about 15 strands in my hand. Brushing it is even worse.

Hair loss from the scalp is a symptom of PCOS. And I heard the common treatment is to be put on birth control.

But I’ve also read that birth control makes hair loss worse in some cases.

What the heck! I can’t stand to lose more hair! It already makes a mess.

well, i also have PCOS! and as far as my hair everything is fine i guess it depends on the person!!! i mean i have notice when am showering i do loose my hair~ but not that much!
i was on birth control but just to regulate my menstrual cycle only.(family planning)
It’s a lack of vita mines take prenatal pills= there not only for pregnant women plus side is there great for your hair & nails also perfect source of all ur vita mines!

hiar doesn’t regrow except under miraculous circumstances. one you start to lose it, its gone

I’m not balding. I was just wondering, would that make my hair grow fast?

Is there any type of shampoo or conditioner (professional or drug store product) that can make your hair grow?

Any tips at all?

Oh and I heard of a product called Hair Bell, from France. Does anyone know if this works or not?

I’m not sure about any shampoos that promote faster hair growth, but there are vitamins and other dietary supplements you can take that will help your hair grow faster and stronger. Shampoos used on horses is also very, very good for your hair and will promote thicker locks. You should also remember to trim the ends of your hair every 6 months or so, I promise just doing that alone will have your hair growing faster and healthier.
